Men's Golf Finishes 13th at Robert Kepler Intercollegiate

Marshall University's men's golf team finished 13th at Ohio State's Robert Kepler Intercollegiate this weekend.
The Thundering Herd recorded rounds of 312, 318 and 319 to finish with a two-day total 949. Northwestern won the event with a score of 892. East Tennessee State finished second at 894, while Minnesota finished third at 900.
Marshall's top individual was senior Nathan Kinker who fired rounds of 75, 77 and 79 to finish in a tie for 29th with a total of 231. Ohio State Brad Wright, who played in the tournament as an individual, won medalist honors with a 218.
Marshall will compete in the Conference USA Championships in Sorrento, Fla., Sunday through Tuesday of next week.
