Final Football Choose-A-Seat and

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Marshall University will host the final "Choose -A-Seat" Day on Saturday August 15 in conjunction with several other fan-focused events. The events are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. at Joan C. Edwards Stadium.

The "Choose-A-Seat" Day, where fans can purchase open seating assignments for the upcoming season and talk to ticket office staff members about various locations and ticket options, is scheduled for 10:00a.m. to 12:30 p.m. One of the new ticket options that will be available starting Saturday will be the "Go Herd Pack". This ticket pack will consist of three games, Bowling Green, East Carolina, and SMU. The discounted price will be vaild for seats located in the end zone and the red zone sections. The "Go Herd Pack" ticket in the end zone will be $50 and the red zone will be $72. This is a 25% savings compared to buying on a single game basis. Fans that purchase the "Go Herd Pack" will be able to renew that particular seat or seats for the 2010 season which includes a home contest against West Virginia University.

The Marshall Football Team will be holding a full contact practice that is scheduled to start at 10:30 a.m. and there will be "EVERY DAY IS GAMEDAY" schedule t-shirts given to the first 300 people who purchase season tickets at the Choose-A-Seat. Also, the Pepsi Bottling group will be providing Mountain Dew Game Fuel to fans in attendance while supplies last.

In addition, multiple inflatable games will be located outside of Gate B for children to enjoy during Saturday's events and shortly following practice there will be an autograph session on the field for all fans. Please bring your own marker and one item to have signed. There will be a public address announcement that will indicate the start of the autograph session. During this time, Marshall Athletics is opening the Bobby Pruett Training Complex and Jonathan E. Dunfee Weight Room for fans to walk through and tour. Signs will be posted to indicate the flow of traffic through the facility.
