Withrow Named to Soccer America National Team of the Week

OAKLAND, Calif. - The accolades for the blank sheet against No. 22 Kentucky continue to pile up for redshirt freshman goal keeper Daniel Withrow (Rochester Hills, Mich.) as he was named to the Soccer America National Team of the Week announced on Tuesday.
Withrow backstopped Marshall to its signature win of the young season when he and the Herd defeated the Wildcats, snapping the nations longest unbeaten win streak at 15 matches.
On the night, Withrow had seven saves. For the week he played 147 minutes, not allowing a goal and making eight saves. The Herd was 2-0 in those games.
Withrow owns a 1-1-1 record with a stellar 0.71 goals against average. He was named the Conference USA Defensive Player of the Week as well.
