Herd Concludes Action at UCF Invitational

ORLANDO, Fla. - The Marshall University women's track and field team concluded action at the UCF Invitational as the Herd had top five finishes from Andrea Jackson and LaTricia Jones.
Jones was fifth in the hammer throw with a toss of 50.14m, while Jackson placed third in the triple jump with a distance of 11.54m.
Running as individual participants, Matt Schiffbauer and David Caldwell of the men's cross country team each grabbed first-place finishes with Schiffbauer winning the 800 meter run, and Caldwell taking first in the 5000 meter run. Schiffbauer posted a time of 1:55.12, while Caldwell won the 5000 meter run with a time of 15.29.98.
The Herd is back in action next weekend as MU partakes in the Duke Invitational.
