Results After Round Two in PDF Format
Marshall University's men's golf team is in fourth place following two rounds of action at Ball State University's Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational at the Delaware Country Club in Muncie, Indiana.
Marshall's team score, which includes five players, of 748 trails Northern Illinois and Bowling Green by just three strokes for second place. The host Ball State Cardinals lead the 15-team field with a 726 heading into Sunday's final round.
Ball State's Eric Steger leads the field with a one-under par 139 after firing rounds of 67 and 72 on Saturday. His teammate Tyler Merkel is second at 142.
The Thundering Herd's Bosten Miller is tied for 5th place after shooting rounds of 71 and 74 (+5) and Marshall's Christian Brand is tied for 11th, just one stroke back, at 146 after shooting a 74 and 72.
Marshall's Nathan Kerns is tied for 17th at 148, while Brian Anania is tied for 24th at 150. Aaron Boggs has a two-round total of 159 and Marshall Hone stands at 162 entering Sunday's final round.
