Softball Against Morehead State Tentative on Tuesday

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - With possible inclement weather moving through the tri-state area, Tuesday's contest of Morehead State at Marshall softball has been tentatively set for a 3 p.m. start time at Dot Hicks Field.
Game day officials will reexamine Tuesday morning whether the teams will meet on Tuesday or a possibility to move the game later in the week.

Marshall drops to 15-27 overall after falling in three games at UCF over the weekend. Alysia Hively was stellar at the plate for the Herd, hitting at a .500 clip in the designated player slot. During the series Hively recorded four hits and one run scored for a .875 slugging percentage.
Morehead State (17-27) has four athletes hitting above .320 and are paced by Rebecca Butler's .393 average, 55 hits, 13 doubles and eight home runs. The pitching staff has a combined 5.74 ERA and use a mix of Ashley Imperial (6-13) and Kelcey McMurray (9-8) for the majority of the innings logged.
