EAST LANSING, Mich.- The Marshall University men's soccer team will complete its trek through Michigan this Sunday when it squares off against the Michigan State Spartans at 2:30 p.m. in the DeMartin Soccer Complex.

The Thundering Herd lost its first game of the trip to Michigan by an agonizingly close 1-0 scoreline, and will be hoping to turn the tides against its second Great Lakes State opponent in Michigan State. The Spartans are 1-3 this season, while the Herd is 0-4 and yet to score a goal.

Michigan State's attack this season has been spearheaded by forward Rubin Bega, who has 2 goals and one assist on the year. Marshall will be hoping that the defending Conference USA Defender of the Year, goalkeeper Daniel Withrow, can claim his first shutout on the season.
