Hilgefort Named to NSCAA Scholar Team

UTICA, N.Y.- Senior Jordan Hilgefort played his last game for the Marshall University men's soccer team against SMU back in November, but the Hebron, Ky., native has continued to pull in the awards even after the final whistle has long blown on the Thundering Herd's 2011 season.

The former Herd defender tallied one goal and two assists on the field this past season, but stood out even further in the classroom with a team-leading 3.8 GPA. Recognized earlier in the year with places on the Capital One Academic All-Region II and C-USA All-Academic Teams, Hilgefort can now take a spot on the NSCAA's (National Soccer Coaches Association of America) Scholar East All-Region Team as well.
