HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- Fresh off its season-opening victory, Marshall women's soccer will travel to Harrisonburg, Va. Sunday for a match against James Madison. Kick-off is set for 7 p.m. at JMU's University Park.

Live stats and live video will both be available online and can be accessed through HerdZone.com.

The James Madison Dukes open their regular season against the Thundering Herd after a preseason which saw them go 0-1-1. Junior Lauren Wilson was James Madison's lone goal scorer between the two games, putting JMU on the board in the second of three 35-minute periods last Sunday against Virginia Commonwealth.

Wilson scored eight goals and recorded six assists last season and helped the Dukes finish 8-8-1 (5-5-1 Colonial Athletic Association). Her 22 points were more than any other two members of the Dukes 2011 squad.

Marshall (1-0) is coming off a victory in its home opener Friday afternoon. Freshman Erin Simmons, sophomore Alyssa Cathey, and junior Lizzy Lemons were all goal-scorers in the 3-1 bout with Ball State.

A victory for the Herd on Sunday would improve Marshall to 2-0 for the first time since head coach Kevin Long guided his squad to a 7-0 start to the 2009 season.
