Dyer Named Student-Athlete of the Week

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Sophomore Loren Dyer won the triple jump at the Heart of the Bluegrass Classic on Saturday and has been named Marshall's Student-Athlete of the Week.
The Lortan, Va. native won her event with a personal best jump of 11.88 meters at the meet in Lexington, Ky. That mark improved her Conference USA rank in the triple jump from 17th to 14th. The C-USA ranks are updated every Tuesday.
Dyer also placed third in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:04.86.
