TRAMEL TALK

Head Coach Bill Tramel on Meet:

"We are very pleased with this weekend. Everyone did something great. Danica (Ross) was just exceptional. She had a part in 5 school records, 3 coming on relays."

"I think the most impressive stat from this meet is that we had 31 Lifetime Best swims. Considering how we prepared for this meet, we couldn't be happier.

"Much of our hard work came out in this meet. Not surprisingly, those who are more focused and consistent in their training and race execution enjoyed the most success. A few of the student athletes acknowledged directly or in passing the changes they need to make to go faster. When athletes begin taking a more detailed focus on their performances, the real improvement can begin. Don't get me wrong, we are very happy, but we aren't satisfied. We want to be our best, and much better at Conference USA Championships in February. This has set us up well."
