A LITTLE HISTORY
Since its inception in 1968, the Marshall Invitational has become one of the top collegiate golf tournaments in the Eastern United States. Guyan Golf & Country Club has been the tournament host for this event, which had been held annually in April until being moved to September in 2010. In 2013, the tournament was re-named in honor of Joe Feaganes, who coached the Thundering Herd from 1972-2012, the longest tenure of any Marshall University head coach regardless of sport in the school's history.
