HAVE YOU HERD?
Senior Kelly Culicerto (Charlotte, N.C.) became Marshall's all-time leader in game-winning goals with the ninth of her career in a 1-0 victory over FIU on Sunday at Veterans Memorial Soccer Complex. The win moved the Thundering Herd to 11-3-3, 4-2-2 in Conference USA play. Marshall's 11 wins are the most since earning a program-record 12 in 2009 (12-7-0, 5-6-0).
REWRITING THE RECORD BOOK
- Senior midfielder Kelly Culicerto (Charlotte, N.C.) owns two school records with nine game-winning goals and 219 shots for her career. This season, she is No. 2 in Conference USA with 78 shots. She needs two more to tie the all-time Marshall season record of 80, held by Amanda McMahon (2000).
- Senior goalkeeper Lizzie Kish (Boyertown, Pa.) broke the school record for career shutouts earlier this season, and now totals 19 after recording a 1-0 blank sheet against FIU on Sunday.
- Senior defender Jenna Dubs (Green Lane, Pa.) is one match away from tying the all-time Marshall record of 76 consecutive starts, held by Sarah Vinson (2009-12). She has started every match of her career (75), totaling 7,038 minutes on the pitch.
