@HerdSB Wraps Up Fall Ball Season Against Ohio Valley

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The Marshall softball team wraps up its fall ball season with a double header Saturday, Oct. 10. First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m. against the Ohio Valley Fighting Scots.

The Herd is 4-2 in the fall after taking the double header against Concord 12-1 and 16-4.

Junior Morgan Zerkle (Milton, W.Va.) leads the offense with 10 runs and nine hits. Along with Zerkle, senior Kaelynn Greene (Eastvale, Calif.) and sophomore Elicia D'Orazio (Clermont, Fla.) have combined 27 stolen bases in the Herd's six games. Senior Katalin Lucas (Agua Dulce, Calif.) leads the Herd with five extra base hits including three doubles, one triple and one home run.

In the circle junior Jordan Dixon (Edmond, Okla.) has pitched 14.1 innings with 14 strikeouts. Senior Brittanie Fowler (Avon, Ohio) has thrown 12 innings with a 2.25 ERA.
