@HerdMSoccer to Welcome Canadian Stars Thursday

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The Marshall University men's soccer team will host its first spring exhibition game on Thursday against the Canadian Stars at 7 p.m. The game will be at Marshall's Hoops Family Field at Veterans Memorial Soccer Complex.
The Canadian Stars are a select team of top youth talent from all across Canada. The group of 17-19 year old boys will play Marshall as part of an eight day, six game swing through the United States.
The Herd has already seen two of its spring games either cancelled or postponed. A game against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds of USL Pro was cancelled on March 1, while an added game against WVU Tech was postponed last Sunday. The game against WVU Tech will be made up on April 10th at 7 p.m. in Huntington.
Marshall is coming off of a fall season in which the Herd returned to the Conference USA tournament and rallied strong towards the end of the season, finishing 7-9-3.
Tickets will be sold at the door for the match. Fans that yell "Go Herd" at the box office window will receive a buy one, get one free deal on tickets. Follow @HerdMSoccer on Twitter for important updates throughout the contest.
