Softball Opener Pushed up to 11 a.m. Friday

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The Marshall University softball team will get its home opener against Western Kentucky started a few hours earlier than scheduled at Dot Hicks Field on Friday.

The home opener, originally slated for 2 p.m., has been moved forward to 11 a.m., Head Coach Shonda Stanton announced today.

As of now, the times for the second and third games of the series on Saturday are the same, with games at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m.
