Herd Finishes Seventh at Blue Devil Spring Shootout

DURHAM, N.C. - Junior Logan Lagodich (Canton, Ohio) posted a team-low 2-over-par 74 for Marshall men's golf at the one-day Blue Devil Spring Shootout hosted by Duke University at The Duke Golf Club on Sunday.
Lagodich tied for 11th place while recording the best par-3 average of the 18-hole tournament at 3-under 4.25. He also had the second-most birdies of any player with five. Also of note: Davey Jude (Kermit, W.Va.) was one of just four individuals to card an eagle.
As a team, Marshall placed seventh out of 15 teams with a 19-over 307.
ON THE LEADERBOARD
Tournament host Duke claimed team honors at 3-under 285, with the Blue Devils' Motin Yeung championed the event by three strokes at 4-under 68.
