Mullett comes to Huntington after three years as the video coordinator at Eastern Michigan University where he directed all aspects of the football team’s audio-visual productions, using different production methods and techniques. He was responsible for managing the Eagles’ student video staff and oversaw all aspects of football coaches’ film, including filming of practices, games, recruiting, and workouts. He was also charged with updating, maintaining, and producing content for EMU’s social media outlets.
“I am very excited to start my time here at Marshall University as the Director of Video Services,” Mullett said. “This is a great community that has welcomed me with open arms and has made me feel at home already. I truly believe that this is where I am supposed to be and am really fired up to show all of our fans all the amazing things about Marshall Athletics through the world of video.”
As an undergraduate at EMU, Mullett was a student assistant for the football team primarily working with the Director of Football Operations. He was also a defensive graduate assistant for a short while before taking over the video duties.
Mullett graduated from EMU in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in sport management/marketing.
