COACH'S CORNER
Head Coach Kevin Longââ'¬Â¦
"When we addressed the team at half time we talked about the last 20 minutes and how we didn't connect on very many passes. We were connecting, we were driving and we looked very dangerous. We looked very safe in the back and then it got into the scenario where WKU upped the pressure on us and we really didn't respond very well."
"We didn't win those battles. So WKU was able to play a 60 yard game on us. We weren't prepared to defend that type of pressure."
"We did play better than in recent games. We defended as a team better. Coming up against William & Mary we'll see if we can execute a little bit better against a just as talented William & Mary team."
