Men's Golf on the Road at the EKU Intercollegiate

RICHMOND, Ky. - The Marshall men's golf team is on the road this weekend to compete in the EKU Intercollegiate. The two-day, three-round event will be played Sept. 17-18 at the University Club at Arlington.
Marshall is fresh off of a fourth place finish out of 16 teams at the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational. The five playing for the Herd in the team competition are seniors Clark Robinson and Will Evans, junior Alex Weiss, and freshmen Matt Hoffman and Cole Moore. Senior A.T. Cashwell will be playing as an individual.
Marshall will be one of 18 teams in the tournament. Also competing will be Cleveland State, Dayton, Eastern Illinois, Eastern Michigan, Florida Gulf Coast University, George Mason, Longwood, Mercer, Morehead State, Murray State, Northern Kentucky, Ohio, SIU Edwardsville, Tennessee State, UT Martin, Youngstown State and the host school Eastern Kentucky.
The EKU Intercollegiate will begin Saturday morning, Sept. 17, with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. All participants will play 36 continuous holes the first day and then finish with one final round of 18 Sunday with tee times beginning at 8 a.m.
