Doubleheader Saturday for @HerdSB at Virginia Tech Canceled

BLACKSBURG, Va. - The Saturday doubleheader for Marshall softball at Virginia Tech has been canceled due to rain. The games will not be rescheduled.

Marshall won game one Friday night, 8-3, as senior pitcher Jordan Dixon struck out 10 and picked up her 26th win of the season. Juniors Jordan Colliflower and Eloise Tribolet combined for six hits and four runs scored, batting in the eight and nine spots in the lineup.

The Herd returns to the field next weekend, April 29-30, at Middle Tennessee State. The Saturday doubleheader begins at 3 p.m. EDT.
