Marshall Swimming and Diving Heads to Oxford

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall swimming and diving travels north to Oxford, Ohio to compete against Miami (Ohio) on Saturday morning at 11 a.m. The meet will be held at the Corwin Nixon Aquatic Center.

The Thundering Herd is coming off a competitive weekend as they competed against Ohio University. Marshall met with Ohio for what was the 11th year straight.

Marshall performed well winning seven of the 16 events. Bendziewicz continued to shine in the dual, winning first place in all four events she participated in.  The Herds relay teams also showed up to the event, placing first in both of those event including the 200 (1:46.19) Medley and the 400 (3:33.79) Freestyle.

This will be the second home meet Miami has hosted this season. Miami first competed against Oakland. The Redhawks finished fourth at the 2018 MAC Championships last season and return four who were named to the All-MAC teams. Miami is currently ranked 25th among the women's Division 1 programs.
