Herd Track and Field to Host USATF Officials Certification Clinic

Clinic takes place Sunday at Cline Indoor Facility

HUNTINGTON, W.Va.—Marshall University track and field will host a USATF Officials Certification Clinic this Sunday, November 18 at the Jeff Small Track at the Chris Cline Indoor Athletic Facility.
Richard Messenger, USATF West Virginia Chair, will host the clinic. In order to apply, all applicants must email Messenger at officialschairwv@gmail.com or by phone at 304-476-8410.
The clinic will begin at 1 p.m. and run until 4 p.m. Information on pricing and clinic schedule can be found in the clinic information packet found here.
Benefits for USATF Officials include nationally recognized USATF certification, eligibility to officiate at USATF national championships and other major competitions, and more.
In addition to hosting the USATF Officials Clinic, Marshall University track and field will host five home meets in the 2018-19 season. Officials who receive certification at this clinic are invited to officiate any of the home meets for the Thundering Herd.
