HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall women's basketball team will begin its 2018-19 season Wednesday at 6 p.m. when Indiana State visits the Cam Henderson Center.
Scouting the Sycamores: The Sycamores come into Wednesday's game sporting a new coach in Vicki Hill. The team brings back four starters from last season's team (11-19, 9-9 MVC). Junior Ashli O'Neal earned honorable mention All-MVC honors as a sophomore, averaging 12.0 points and 2.8 rebounds per game. Despite five newcomers, Indiana State returns plenty of production to the floor in 2018-19. With eight letterwinners and four starters returning, the Sycamores return 69% of its points and 66% of its rebounds from last season.
