DAVIDSON, N.C. – The Marshall men's golf team completed the first day of the River Run Collegiate Monday evening at the River Run Country Club.
The Herd sits in 13th place.
"It was a really challenging day for us today," Herd head coach Matt Grobe said. "We are struggling right now. We have a lot of work to do to become a better golf team. We have the ability and we just aren't producing results."
Charlotte is in first place with a 1-over team score of 577. Keller Harper of Furman and Jack Lang of Davidson lead the player field after scoring a 7-under 137 through the first two rounds.
The third round begins Tuesday morning with a shotgun start at 8 a.m.
