Logistics, Timeline Announced for Saturday’s Eastern Kentucky Contest

Kickoff time scheduled for 6:36 p.m.
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall Football will kickoff its 2018 home schedule at Joan C. Edwards Stadium against Eastern Kentucky on Saturday at 6:36 p.m. The game has been designated as this year's Hall of Fame Game. Marshall Athletics will introduce its eight inductees prior to the contest, which includes two former football players, Garland Barnhart, Josh Davis and Dewey Klein.
The Henderson Center Ticket Office will be open on Saturday from 12-3:30 p.m. for all individuals wishing to purchase tickets. At 3:30 p.m., operations will cease and will resume at Edwards Stadium ticket booths at 4 p.m. All tickets must be purchased by the start of the third quarter to be allowed entry into the game.
Tickets for the game may be purchased online on HerdZone.com 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Choosing the print-at-home or mobile delivery options will save on handling fees and is recommended for all home football games.
Re-entry is permitted at the stadium. You must get your hand stamped when leaving the stadium, and must show your valid game ticket stub & hand stamp to stadium security upon re-entry.
NEW for 2018 is the West Virginia Lottery pre-game concert located near Gate C, or the Southwest entrance to the stadium. Additionally, the "Thundering Brew Zone" will be open inside the west concourse near Gate B until alcohol sales conclude at the end of the third quarter. There are alcohol-free zones located throughout the stadium, and those wishing to sit in these areas must specify this to the Ticket Office representative when purchasing tickets. The entirety of section 228 in the upper end zone General Admission area is designated as an alcohol-free zone, as well as the top five rows of sections 100 and 105.
Marshall Athletics does not have a clear bag policy, however all bags will be searched upon entering the stadium. Please visit the "Game Day Information" link under the Tickets tab for various information about Marshall Football game days.

10 a.m. – Dress head to toe in Kelly Green, gather your tailgate supplies, grab a friend and get ready for the Marshall vs. EKU football game
Noon – Henderson Center Ticket Office open for game day ticket sales and will call; will close at 3:30 p.m.
12:30 p.m. – All reserved parking lots open for tailgating
4 p.m. – All Joan C. Edwards ticket booths open for game day ticket sales
4:20 p.m. – Thunder Walk in the West Lot at Joan C. Edwards Stadium
5 p.m. – Gates Open
6:33 p.m. – Herd takes the field
