Women’s Golf Set for Princess Anne Invitational

Three-day event begins Friday morning
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The Marshall women's golf team is back in action at the Princess Anne Invitational, Oct. 4-6, at the Princess Anne Country Club. The event is hosted by Old Dominion.
The tournament consists of three rounds over three days. The first round tees off Friday morning at 8 a.m. The first Marshall golfer will get started at 8:11 a.m. on the 10th hole. The course is a par-70 with total yardage of 5,824. Live scoring is provided by GolfStat.com.
Competing for Marshall will be senior Shelby Brauckmuller, junior Stormy Randazzo, sophomores Jackie Schmidt and Torren Kalaskey, and freshman Makena Rauch. Rauch is making her collegiate debut.
The Herd is one of 15 teams playing in the event. The others schools competing are host Old Dominon, UCF, Sacramento State, Campbell, South Florida, East Carolina, College of Charleston, Chattanooga, UTSA, LSU, Middle Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Coastal Carolina and Minnesota.
Marshall is coming off a 12th place finish at the Bettie Lou Evans Invitational, Sept. 27-29. The Herd competed in the Princess Anne Invite in the fall of 2018 and finished in ninth. Brauckmuller led the team with a fifth place finish on the leaderboard
