Thundering Herd Readies for Saturday’s Conference USA Cross Country Championship

Men run at 10 a.m. ET, while women start at 11
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Marshall's men's and women's cross country teams will compete in the Conference USA Championships Saturday at Kereiakes Park in Bowling Green. The event is hosted by Western Kentucky University.
The men's 8-kilometer race begins at 10 a.m. ET/9 a.m. CT, while the women start an hour later in the 5K contest.
An awards ceremony will be conducted following the conclusion of both races.
On Thursday, Marshall's Joel Krznaric was named to the league's All-Academic Team. He currently boasts a 4.0 GPA in economics, finance and applied mathematics. He competed in all four meets this fall for Marshall, boasting a ninth overall finish at the Evansville Invitational.
