Men’s Basketball Hosts MTSU in Final Game Before Bonus Play

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall men's basketball finishes the conference slate before bonus play begins with a Saturday afternoon tilt with Middle Tennessee at 2 p.m. in the Cam Henderson Center.
BONUS PLAY
Coming into the last game before bonus play, the Herd can finish in either pod two or three and finish anywhere between seventh and 12th depending on the outcome of Marshall against MTSU and the rest of the conference slate Saturday afternoon.

SEVENTH PLACE FINISH
Beat MTSU and La Tech, FAU, and FIU losses
Beat MTSU and FAU wins OR FIU wins OR FAU wins and FIU wins and La Tech loses
Beat MTSU and La Tech, FAU and FIU wins
EIGHTH PLACE FINISH
Beat MTSU, La Tech wins, FAU and FIU both lose
11th PLACE FINSIH
Lose to MTSU, FAU wins, FIU wins and La Tech wins or loses
Lose to MTSU, Rice wins, FIU wins and La Tech wins
12th PLACE FINISH
If there is a six-way tie with Rice, MTSU, FAU, FIU and La Tech at 6-8
Lose to MTSU, Rice wins, FIU wins and La Tech loses
SCOUTING THE BLUE RAIDERS
MTSU comes into the contest with an 8-18 record, including a conference record of 5-8.
Blue Raiders are on a two-game losing streak dropping its contests to Old Dominion and WKU.
MTSU is outscored by its opponents by 7.2 points per game and has a turnover margin of -4.2.
