GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Marshall men's golf team tees off in the Furman Intercollegiate Friday, at the Furman University Golf Course.
The course is a par-71 with total yardage of 6,984.
Marshall is one of 21 teams competing in the three-round, three-day event. The other schools are Furman, Davidson, Presbyterian, Wofford, Samford, Wichita State, Cincinnati, Minnesota, Yale, Dartmouth, Francis Marion, USC Upstate, Charleston Southern, Akron, Coastal Carolina, Virginia Tech, South Carolina at Aiken, Winthrop, High Point and Georgia State.
Playing for Marshall will be junior Cole Moore, redshirt sophomore Cameron Root, redshirt sophomore Will Straub, redshirt junior Ben Roeder, redshirt senior Thomas Frazier and freshman Kyle Mitchell will be playing as an individual. Marshall tees off on Friday at 9:30 a.m. on the back-nine.

The Thundering Herd rallied in the final round of the Pinehurst Intercollegiate to finish fifth out of 14 teams the last time on the links.
