HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall women's tennis team continues its five-match road trip Saturday and Sunday when it faces the Cincinnati Bearcats and Memphis Tigers. Both matches will be played in Memphis, Tennessee, making the Herd's match against Cincinnati a neutral-site match.

HAVE YOU HERD?
Marshall had its three-match win streak snapped in its last outing against Tulane. Liz Stefancic and Madi Ballow each picked up straight-sets singles wins but the Green Wave defeated the Herd, 5-2.

Prior to losing to Tulane, Marshall had defeated Middle Tennessee, UAB and New Orleans over an eight-day span.

Stefancic is currently on a six-match singles win streak dating back to the beginning of the month. Ballow has won each of her last four singles matches. Anna Smith and Daniela Dankanych are on a three-match win streak as a doubles pairing.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT: CINCINNATI
Cincinnati enters the weekend with an 8-6 overall record and an 0-1 record in the American Athletic Conference. The Bearcats will play Memphis on Friday prior to playing the Thundering Herd on Saturday.

Antonella Bramato leads the Bearcats during dual match play with a 7-3 singles record. Bramato is on a two-match win streak and Anna Philp is on a three-match win streak, though Philp has played in just four singles matches during the spring season. Bramato and Alexia Coutino are the top doubles pairing for Cincinnati with a 9-4 record.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT: MEMPHIS
Memphis enters the weekend with an 8-8 overall record and a 2-1 record in the American Athletic Conference. The Tigers will play Cincinnati on Friday and South Alabama on Saturday prior to facing the Herd. Memphis is looking to snap a two-match losing streak this weekend after falling to Harvard and Brown last week.

Laura Bente and Lina Hornhold lead the Tigers with identical 10-5 singles records, while Bente and Alisha Reayer lead Memphis as a doubles pairing with a 4-3 record. Bente is a combined 8-6 in doubles play.

Marshall has a 21-1 lead in the all-time series against Cincinnati, including a 4-3 win last season. The Thundering Herd is 1-1 against Memphis.
