Men’s Golf Back in Action at the Pinehurst Intercollegiate

PINEHURST, N.C. – The Marshall men's golf team is back on the course, March 8-10, at the Pinehurst Intercollegiate. The Herd is one of 12 teams participating in the three-round event.
Competing for the Herd will be Cameron Root, Matt Hoffman, Ben Roeder, Will Straub and Cole Moore. Playing as individuals are Brad Plaziak, Kyle Mitchell and Thomas Frazier.
Along with Marshall, the other teams playing at Pinehurst are Belmont, Davidson, Dayton, EKU, Florida Gulf Coast, Longwood, Morehead State, Ohio, Old Dominion, Radford, Siena College, Wisconsin Lutheran and Xavier.
The golfers will play one round each day from Friday through Sunday. The first players tee off Friday at 8 a.m. Cole Moore will be the first Herd golfer to tee off at 9:21 a.m.
Marshall competed at Pinehurst in the spring of 2018 and finished ninth out of 14 teams while then senior Alex Weiss finished second overall.
