League Office Announces Commissioner’s Academic Medal Winners

Number of Marshall winners up from last year
DALLAS – Conference USA commissioner Judy McLeod has released the Commissioner's Academic Medal winners for the 2018-19 academic year, the league office announced on Friday afternoon.
In total, 60 Marshall athletes were awarded for their efforts in the classroom, an increase from last season. During the 2017-18 academic year, the Thundering Herd placed 57 student-athletes on the list.
Marshall student-athletes make up almost eight percent of this year's winners.
Medals are given to those C-USA student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or better. A total of 771 student-athletes earned the Conference USA Commissioner's Academic Medal during this academic year.
