Women’s Golf Completes Mary Fossum Invitational

Parks top finisher for Herd tied for 13th

EAST LANSING, Mich. – The Marshall women's golf team finished the Mary Fossum Invitational Monday afternoon at the Forest Akers West Golf Course.
The Thundering Herd finished in eighth place.
Junior Kerri Parks was the top finisher for the Herd tied for 13th. Junior Stormy Randazzo continued to improve with each round (84-78-74) and scored a 2-over 74 in the final round and moved up 11 more spots on the leaderboard.
Michigan State ran away with the team title at its home tournament with a 22-stroke lead over Western Kentucky. Paz Marfa entered the day in first and held on by one stroke over Mary Joiner of Western Kentucky. Marfa scored a 4-over 76 in the final round while Joiner shot a 1-over 73.
