Competed in six of seven tournaments as final three events were canceled due to outbreak of Coronavirus pandemic … Finished with a season-stroke average of 80.67 … Made collegiate debut in the season-opener at the Golfweek Program Challenge (Sept. 9-10) … Saw a 10-stroke improvement from the first to the second round (86-76) at the Mary Fossum Invitational (Sept. 22-23) … Shot a season-low, 3-over 75 in the second round of the Palmetto Intercollegiate (Oct. 13-15) … Competed in both spring events at the Texas State Invitational (Feb. 10-11) and the River Landing Classic (March 9-10).
High School: Attended junior and senior years at BAVEL Online High school … Also attended Peters Township HS for freshman year and into sophomore year, and Henry Clay HS for the second half of sophomore year … Lettered in tennis as well as golf … Her favorite moment in athletics was, “when I shot my first under par round to win my first tournament. (Pro Golfer) Justin Thomas congratulated me for the win and accomplishment.”
Personal: Born January 6, 2001 … Daughter of Brandon and Kris Schaffer … Has one younger brother, Triston, who attends Upper St. Clair High School … Chose Marshall because, “of the great program for journalism and broadcasting. I loved the coach and the golf program.” … Plans to major in journalism and broadcasting.
