BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Marshall men's basketball finishes its first conference road trip at the Bartow Arena against UAB. The game time has been changed due to the possibility of high winds and tornadoes earlier Saturday afternoon.

Jarrod West is tied for 10th in Div. I in steals with 39 this season. The junior now has 176 career-steals, fourth most in program history. Around the country, West is third among active Division I juniors and tied for 14th among all active Division I student-athletes in career steals.
Marshall defeated Middle Tennessee 79-75 on Thursday night in Murfreesboro, Tenn.
Iran Bennett recorded the second double-double of his career with 17 points and 11 rebounds, both led the Herd, while making 50 percent of his shots.
Junior Jarrod West followed up Bennett by pouring 16 points into the basket, with 13 coming in the second half where he rattled home all three of his attempts from beyond-the-arc. The guard added three assists and a pair of steals to his stat line.
MU dominated points in the paint to the tune of 46-28.
SCOUTING UAB
The Blazers have a pair of players averaging double-figure points this season with Jalen Benjamin leading the way with 11.9 points per game. He's tied for second on the team in assists with 25.
Tavin Lovan is averaging 11 points per contest and leads UAB with 21 steals.
Tyreek Scott-Grayson has a team-best 32 assists, while Makhtar Gueye has a team-high 5.6 rebounds.
UAB and Marshall are the only two teams to beat Duquesne this season.
