Herd Swimming and Diving to Compete in Back-to-Back Meets Against Ohio and JMU

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University swim and diving teams are back in action on Friday, Jan. 31 at Ohio University. Then, on Saturday, Feb. 1, Marshall will return back to Huntington to face James Madison University at the Frederick A. Fitch Natatorium.

The last time the Herd competed against the Bobcats was Oct. 19, 2018, while its last meeting against the Dukes was on Jan. 27, 2019.

"This weekend will be a great challenge for this group," Marshall Head Coach Ian Walsh said. "We are going up against two very well-coached teams and having back to back meets will test our girls. We've been getting sharper each week and I think we're in a great position heading into this weekend."

Saturday's home meet for the Herd will serve as Senior Day.
Â
"On Saturday we will be celebrating our five seniors and their accomplishments during their time within this program," Walsh said. "I know their teammates are excited to send them off with a high-energy, loud final dual meet here at The Fitch."
