HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall men's basketball opens the 2020-21 season with a pair of home games with Coppin State on Nov. 25 and Arkansas State on Nov. 27. Both games tipping at 6 p.m. The Red Wolves are replacing Tennessee State who had to pull out of the event at the Cam Henderson Center.
Marshall also announced the TV and tip times for the rest of the regular season home games in conjunction with the Conference USA league office on Tuesday.

Senior Jarrod West was named to the Conference USA All-Defensive Team and was named third-team all-conference last season while leading Conference USA with 65 steals.
Junior guard Taevion Kinsey was named to the all-conference second-team and led the team in scoring with 16.4 points and assists with 133 during the 2019-20 season.
Redshirt freshman Andrew Taylor was named to the C-USA all-freshman team after winning three C-USA Freshman of the Week awards last season.
Marshall closed out the season with a win over UTEP, 86-78, in the first round of Conference USA Tournament before being the season came to a halt due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Thundering Herd returns all, but one letterwinner from last season.
West enters the year seven steals away from breaking Skip Henderson's men's basketball program record of 208.
Redshirt senior Jannson Williams comes into the 2020-21 campaign 32 blocks away from breaking Hassan Whiteside's program record of 182.
SCOUTING COPPIN STATE
The Eagles finished the pandemic shortened season with an 11-20 record, but won its final three games before the MEAC Conference Tournament was canceled.
Senior Koby Thomas returns as Coppin State's leading scorer as he averaged 13.3 points per game last season. Thomas also returns as the leading rebounder with 6.9 boards per contest.
CSU lost its leading scorer Andrew Robinson to graduation and will look to replace his 15.1 points per game this year.
The Eagles also lost their leading rebounder Brendan Medley-Bacon, who averaged 8.9 boards per night, as he transferred to Virginia Commonwealth.
SCOUTING ARKANSAS STATE
The Red Wolves finished the 2019-20 season with a 16-16 record. Arkansas State returns just four players from last season's active roster.
Marquis Eaton was named to the All-Sun Belt Preseason Second-Team. Eaton Eaton was among 14 players nationally to average at least 13.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.0 steals while committing fewer than 2.0 turnovers per game.
Caleb Fields was named third-team preseason all-conference in the SBC. Fields was one of five Division I freshmen to finish the 2019-20 season averaging at least 11.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and fewer than 2.0 turnovers per game.
