KYLE, Texas – The Marshall women's golf team completed the Texas State Invitational on Tuesday, the first event of the spring 2020 season, at the Plum Creek Golf Course.
Junior Kerri Parks led the Herd finishing tied for 28th. Parks saw a five-stroke improvement from round one to round two to help move up the leaderboard. Junior Stormy Randazzo moved up eight spots on the leaderboard on Tuesday.
Hannah Holzmann of UTSA won on the individual side with a 3-under 213 for the event. She finished six strokes ahead of Madigan Murray from UT-Arlington. UTSA and Sam Houston State finished tied for the top spot and with a three-stroke lead over host team Texas State.
