EL PASO, Texas – Marshall men's basketball closes out its Texas roadtrip at the Don Haskins Center on Saturday afternoon in El Paso with a contest against UTEP.

The Herd fell in its first contest of the roadtrip on Thursday night at UTSA.
Jarrod West recorded the second double-double of his career with 15 points and a career-high 10 rebounds. The junior guard also had a game-high five assists.
Taevion Kinsey led all scorers with 27 points, his fourth game of 20 or more points this season.
Mikel Beyers scored 10 points and tied his career-high in blocks with four.
MU is locked into pod two with UTSA, UAB, Old Dominion and Florida Atlantic after the results on Thursday night.
Marshall can finish anywhere from sixth to 10th depending on what happens on Saturday.
It can take the top spot of group two with a win and the other four schools suffering defeats, while a loss would place the Herd at the bottom of the pod.
SCOUTING UTEP
The Miners dropped its contest on Thursday night to WKU and they are on a four-game losing streak.
Bryson Williams leads UTEP in scoring with 18.5 points per game, rebounding at 7.1 and blocks with 25. Williams has won three Conference USA Player of the Week awards this season, one fewer UTSA Jhivvan Jackson who has won four.
Souly Boum is second in scoring and steals with 12.5 points per game and 20 steals.
UTEP has a positive scoring margin of one point, while being outrebounded by 0.5 rebounds per game.
The Miners have struggled from behind-the-arc shooting 27.9 percent on three-point attempts.
