Men’s Golf Prepares for Loyola Intercollegiate

GOODYEAR, Ariz. – The Marshall men's golf team is on the road for its first spring event of the 2019-20 season at the Loyola Intercollegiate, played at the Palm Valley Golf Club. The three-day, three-round event will take place Feb. 22-24.
The course is a par-72 with 7,015 total yards. Fans can follow along with live scoring through GolfStat.com.
20 teams are represented at the tournament with 19 playing as teams. Arizona State has only sent individuals. The other teams competing are Air Force, Connecticut, Eastern Michigan, South Dakota, Loyola-Maryland, Northern Illinois, UT-Martin, Loyola Marymount, DePaul, SIU Edwardsville, Hartford, Delaware, Seton Hall, Xavier, Bucknell, Missouri State, Drake and Murray State.
Playing for Marshall as a team will be freshman Tyler Jones, sophomore Kyle Mitchell, redshirt senior Ben Roeder, junior Brad Plaziak, redshirt junior Cameron Root and redshirt junior Will Straub will be playing as an individual.
