Women’s Golf Through Two Rounds at River Landing Classic

WALLACE, N.C. – The Marshall women's golf team completed the first two rounds of the River Landing Classic on Monday, at the River Landing Golf Course.
The Thundering Herd is tied for ninth with Bradley after 36 holes.
As a team, Marshall improved by seven strokes in the second round from the first. Juniors Kerri Parks and Stormy Randazzo along with senior Shelby Brauckmuller are all ranked in the top half of the field. Randazzo and Brauckmuller are both tied for 23rd. Brauckmuller jumped up 10 spots on the leaderboard after the second round as she saw a 3-stroke improvement. Parks rose up 18 places with a score of six strokes better in the second round. Freshman Peyton Schaffer dropped her score by five strokes in the second and moved up five places.
There is a three-way tie at the top for the team award. High Point, Boston and USC Upstate all finished Monday with a team score of 590. It is a 7-stroke lead over Jacksonville State.
Katerina Doleckova of Boston and Sarah Kahn of High Point are tied at the top of the player leaderboard with a 1-under 143.
The final round tees off Tuesday with a shotgun start at 8:45 a.m. Live scoring is provided by Golfstat.com.
