HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Athletics Hall of Fame Committee announced the 2020 induction class in March, but this weekend's Hall of Fame Weekend festivities were postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic and changes to the Marshall football schedule. The Thundering Herd was originally scheduled to host the University of Pittsburgh at Joan C. Edwards Stadium this weekend, but that game was canceled. The Marshall football program is off this weekend.

Marshall Athletics and the Hall of Fame Committee look forward to honoring this induction class at a date to be determined.

This weekend, all nine members of the 2020 class will be spotlighted on HerdZone.com, Marshall's official athletics website.

Next up: Steve Sciullo, who played football at Marshall from 1999 to 2002.

Sciullo was a 6-foot-6, 325-pound offensive lineman who blocked for both Chad Pennington and Byron Leftwich and was part of the 13-0, No. 10 in the nation 1999 team that beat No. 25 BYU in the Motor City Bowl. Sciullo appeared in four Mid-American Conference championship games, winning three, with four consecutive bowl victories. Following his Marshall career, he was selected in the fourth round of the 2003 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts, starting part of that season at guard. He later played for the Philadelphia Eagles, Carolina Panthers and in NFL Europe with the Hamburg (Germany) Sea Devils.
