Herd Women’s Tennis Announces 2021 Schedule

HUNTINGTON, W.Va – Herd women's tennis coach John Mercer announced the 2021 regular season schedule on Sunday. The schedule features 10 home contest and seven road matchups.
The Herd starts the season at Kentucky on Jan. 28, followed by road matches against Murray State on Feb. 5 and Middle Tennessee on Feb 7th. Marshall's home opener will be on Feb. 13 against Furman.
The Herd will continue the home stretch against Bellarmine on Feb. 19, Radford on Mar. 3 and VCU on Mar. 6. Marshall heads to Charlotte to face Charlotte and Presbyterian on back-to-back days, Mar. 13/14.
The Herd returns to Huntington for another four-match homestead against Liberty on Mar. 27, Virginia Tech and West Virginia State on Mar 28 and WVU on Apr. 3.
Marshall hits the road for an away match versus James Madison on Apr. 9, before heading back to Huntington to face Cincinnati and Charleston on Apr. 11.
The Herd rounds out the regular season on the road against WVU with the last match set for Apr. 16.
The Conference USA tournament is scheduled for Apr. 22-25 in Denton, Texas.
