Marshall Women’s Swimming and Diving to Compete Against Ohio On Senior Day

First home meet of the 2021 season
HUNTINGTON, W.Va—The Marshall University women's swimming and diving team will open up its 2021 season Sunday against the Ohio University Bobcats in the Fitch Natatorium, located in the Cam Henderson Center.
This is the only home meet for the Herd this season and will serve as Senior Day.
The following will be honored: Rachel Hughes, Sarah McGlumphy, Heather Sigmon and Darby Coles.
"We are thrilled to host Ohio University here at home for our first meet in 2021," Marshall Head Coach Ian Walsh said. "It has been a challenging year for everyone and we are grateful to have the opportunity to race, especially on Senior Day."
"It's always been a competitive and fun atmosphere going against Ohio over the past several years. We will certainly be challenged, and I look forward to seeing our women stand and up compete for each other this weekend."
In the team's last matchup against the Bobcats, the Herd fell 120-177 in Athens. Darby Coles won the 50 Yard Freestyle and placed second in the 200 Yard Freestyle and 200 Yard Freestyle events.
Ohio currently leads the series 11-1 over Marshall.
The meet is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the meet will not be open to the public. There will be a live stream of the meet on Marshall University Women's Swimming and Diving Facebook page.
