Marshall Readies for Live In Lou Classic

Thundering Herd in action Saturday morning
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Marshall's men's and women's cross country teams will run at the 20th annual Live In Lou Classic Saturday morning at E.P. Tom Sawyer Park in Louisville.

The men's 8000 meter race will kick off the meet at 10:45 a.m., while the women's 5000 meter run is scheduled to follow at 11:30 a.m.

"Louisville is one of my favorite meets each year," said Caleb Bowen, Marshall's Assistant Coach for Cross Country. "We'll be racing against lots of other teams in both the men's and women's races. We've had a great block of training leading up to this race and I know the student-athletes going are really excited to get back on the course."

The Thundering Herd is off next weekend, followed by a trip to Kernersville, N.C. to run at the VertCross Invitational on Friday, October 15.
