Gandee Garners C-USA All-Academic Team Honor

The defender earned her first all-academic honor
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Sophomore Marshall women's soccer defender Olivia Gandee was named to the 2021 Conference USA All-Academic Second-Team, as announced by the league office.
The native of Ripley, W.Va., played in all 16 matches this season, starting Marshall's last 15 contests, and accumulated 1,401 minutes. Gandee missed just 15 minutes in her 15 starts as she transitioned from the midfield to the backline due to injuries this season.
In the classroom, the sophomore has a 3.93 GPA and is majoring in biological sciences. Gandee was a member of the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll as well as earning the C-USA Academic Medal after the 2020-21 season for accumulating a GPA of 3.75 or higher.
