The Herd fell to the UNI Panthers on Saturday in the Cam Henderson Center, 75-60.
Freshman Obinna Anochili-Killen poured a career-high 22 points through the basket. The forward made seven of his 10 shots from the field, including 3-for-4 from three-point range, grabbed five rebounds and rejected three shots.
Junior Taevion Kinsey scored 10 points in the loss. Redshirt sophomore Andrew Taylor brought down a team-high six rebounds and paced his side with two steals.
Kinsey has reached double-figure scoring in 46 consecutive contests.
The Herd made a three in its 982nd consecutive game, with the last contest without a triple occurring on Feb. 27, 1989, in a win over App State.
Anochili-Killen has tallied 10 or more points in 11 of Marshall's 12 games this season. It was his first career game of 20 or more points. The native of Lagos, Nigeria, is second in the nation with 55 blocks.
SCOUTING TOLEDO
The Rockets were tabbed to finish third in the Mid-American Conference Preseason Coaches Poll.
Ryan Rollins is averaging 19.3 points per game to pace Toledo and the MAC. Rollins also leads his side with 19 steals.
Toledo is 41st in the nation in rebounds per game as it brings in 40.7 boards per contest.
