Hollis helped the Herd to a 2-1 overtime victory over ETSU

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall women's soccer junior midfielder Lauren Hollis was named Conference USA Defensive Player of the Week on Tuesday, as announced by the league office.

Hollis played a big role in the Herd's 2-1 overtime win on Saturday at ETSU. Hollis made her Marshall debut and had to go out of position. The Herd had a pair of backs have to leave the game and Hollis had to move from her centerback position and play as aback down the wing. in Marshall's victory.
