BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Marshall women's golf team is back in action Monday and Tuesday, March 15-16, at the UAB Spring Invite played at the Greystone Golf & Country Club.
The three-round, two day event tees off Monday morning. The teams will play two rounds on Monday and the final round on Tuesday. Live scoring is provided by GolfStat.com.
Competing for the Thundering Herd will be seniors Kerri Parks and Stormy Randazzo, juniors Torren Kalaskey and Jackie Schmidt, and sophomore Makena Rauch.
The Herd is coming off playing at the River Landing Classic, March 8-9. Parks collected her second top 20 finish of the year, coming in 15th. In the final round of the River Landing Classic, Marshall saw its team score improve by 12 strokes from the second round.
Marshall is one of 11 teams competing in the event. The other programs are High Point, Arkansas-Little Rock, Alabama State, North Alabama, Belmont, Samford, Xavier, (No. 95 GolfStat top 100) Middle Tennessee, Jacksonville State and the host school UAB.
